Who loves the fall? This is always a fun time a year, the kick off of the holiday season! The next few months are filled with a great opportunity to make lasting memories and have an amazing time with your family. I want to share with you some FREE events you can enjoy with your family this fall. If you live in or near Toledo, Ohio hold on to this post!
Erie Orchards will host its first kids weekend September 16 and 17! Admission to this event is FREE. Children can enjoy magic shows, petting zoo, hay rides, and more.
There is no better place to enjoy the fall than on a farm! At Gust Brothers you can pick your own pumpkins, enjoy hayrides, and see the farm animals. MacQueen’s Orchard Apple Butter festival is Saturday October 7 and 8, from 10am to 6pm. This will be an exciting event with children rides, live entertainment, crafts, contest, and you apple picking.
On October 27th from 10am-12pm Children six and under are invited to put on their costumes and head to Franklin Park Mall for indoor trick-or-treating, fall crafts, a photo booth character appearances and more!

Kids 12 and under can go on Hike along Olander Park trails on October 28, and collect treats from 20 different stations. Enjoy the an enchanting evening with friendly storytellers. This is a free event, however they do ask for generous donation of $1 for those 3 and up!

Franklin Park Mall is host toddler events every Tuesday throughout the month of September and October. This event is FREE and in the Food Court from 10am to 12pm. “ Little one’s will have fierce fun playing, creating, pretending and moving during Toddler Tuesdays at Franklin Park Mall this fall!”

The Toledo Art Museum Family center host several family events each week. Each themed activity is FREE, and you and your little ones can create your own memories and masterpieces! Come celebrate the first days of Fall and experiment with warm colors: red, yellow, and orange.
8. Hensville Park, Art Loop: Dancing in the streets 5:30pm-9 pm September 21. Come enjoy a wide array of dances and performances throughout downtown.

9. Hensville Park, Opening Night tailgate party. October 21 from 3pm to 6pm. There will be live entertainment, food, drinks, and family activities throughout the day.
10. Pumpkin festival
Walbridge Park is hosting a fun fall festival that you won't want to miss. October 14th from 12pm to 2pm. Come enjoy hay rides, pumpkin decorating, crafts, and fall treats. This event and all its treats are TOTALLY FREE! Get there early because quantities are limited and served on first come basis. Visit Walbridge park at 2761 Broadway St, Toledo Ohio 43609.
